ECE Assistant Professor Asif Khan has been named as a recipient of the NSF CAREER Award.

Vince Calhoun has been named as the recipient of the 2021 Honorific Award for Outstanding Translational Research from the Schizophrenia International Research Society (SIRS).

Alexopoulos is the first person to receive both awards in the same year.

ECE Professor Russell Dupuis and his colleagues were awarded the 2021 Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering on February 2.

ECE Professor Emeritus Nikil Jayant is among the 175 renowned academic inventors named to the 2020 class of Fellows of the National Academy of Inventors (NAI). 

ECE Associate Professor Shimeng Yu has been named as a Distinguished Lecturer for the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS) for 2021-2022.

Associate Professor Aditya Prakash and Ph.D. student Alexander Rodriguez won two Covid-19 related challenges.

ISyE research was honored for excellence across a wide range of categories.

The Georgia Institute of Technology in partnership with Logisticus Group was awarded the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) Partnerships for Innovation (PFI) grant to continue research on the re-use of wind turbine blades.

This lecture series has been held annually for 20 years and consists of a general lecture and a more specialized lecture by an internationally prominent statistical scientist.
