Inauguration of College of Charleston President Andrew Hsu, Proud Tech Alumnus

(Oct. 25, 2019 | Charleston, SC) On Oct. 25, Rafael L. Bras served as a distinguished guest and speaker at the College of Charleston inauguration ceremony. Andrew Hsu, who holds a master’s and Ph.D. from Georgia Tech in aerospace engineering, became the 23rd president of the College.

Tech in 2040: Creating the Next in Education

Georgia Tech Alumni Magazine, Volume 93 No. 2 | 2017 - The next generation college graduate is expected to have an average of 15 jobs over his or her lifetime. And, half of the available jobs on the market in the next five years don’t exist today. This reality is drastically different than my own professional career path and will look nothing like anything we have seen before.

First of Leadership ‘Conversations’ Series Looks at the Future of Higher Education

Bras hosted an event about the future of higher education and ways Georgia Tech will educate the next generation of learners. Presented in the Student Center Theater, the event was the first in a series of campuswide, conversation-style events.
