Muhannad Bakir has been appointed as the Dan Fielder Professor in the Georgia Tech School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), effective September 1, 2019.

Student earns two rewards as well as conference pass and mentorship

Christopher Ballenger, a third-year computer science major with a minor in German, received the 2022 College Student of the Year Award.

Students won awards in four out of six sections of the contest.

Six Georgia Tech faculty members were named IEEE Fellows, effective January 1, 2022. They are Ghassan AlRegib, Levent Degertekin, Bonnie Ferri, Arijit Raychowdhury, Maryam Saeedifard, and May Dongmei Wang.

ECE Professor Russell Dupuis has been named as a co-recipient of the 2022 Benjamin Franklin Medal in Electrical Engineering.

For her outstanding achievements in furthering the teaching of German, Dr. Kallin has been selected as one of five recipients nationally for the 2021 Goethe‐Institut/AATG Certificate of Merit Award.

ECE Associate Professor Shimeng Yu has been named as a Distinguished Lecturer for the IEEE Electron Devices Society (EDS).

ECE Professor Arijit Raychowdhury has been selected for the 2021 Technical Excellence Award by the Semiconductor Research Corporation (SRC).

Tushar Krishna and Arijit Raychowdhury have been selected for 2021 Qualcomm Faculty Awards (QFA). They are both faculty members in the Georgia Tech School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE).
