Naima Barton
Assistant Director of Administrative Operations
Naima manages administrative operations of the Office of the Provost and oversees the daily operations of multiple administrative functions, including serving as ex-officio on committees served by our office, coordinating business communications, facilitating various reporting duties, co-chairing special projects, collaborating with other Institute units on operational matters, leading events, and more.
Robbie Burr
Executive Assistant to the Provost
Robbie is part of the executive administrative team for the Office of the Provost and provides direct support to the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs. She is the first point of contact for the leadership office and performs a wide range of high-level administrative functions. Robbie’s responsibilities include managing the schedule, travel, and incoming communication.
Andrew Eichel
Interim Senior Director of Academic Administration
Dr. Andrew Eichel is the interim Senior Director of Academic Administration. He joins the Office of the Provost after serving for 2 years as a Senior Managing Strategy Consultant for Georgia Tech Strategic Consulting, where he supported institutional priorities by providing strategic advising and subject matter expertise, especially related to institutional growth objectives and student success. In the interim Senior Director role, Andrew provides operational support to Georgia Tech’s entire academic enterprise by directing complex administrative projects, leading planning efforts in support of the academic mission, representing the Office of the Provost on campus committees, and collaborating with colleagues to close process gaps and increase operational efficiencies.

Tammy Benjamin
Director of Financial Administration
Tammy serves as the department administrator for the Institute's financial systems, monitoring and ensuring proper recording of Office of the Provost financial transactions. She also generates financial reports and advises management regarding financial status, oversees unit budget administration and coordination, including budget amendments, coordinates and facilitates audits of financial practices and records, provides financial support to the vice provost financial teams, and monitors the fiscal year-end closing for the units.
Sue Jean Chae
Financial Manager II
Sue Jean is the Financial Manager II in the Office of the Provost and the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs. She manages the financial activity, including budget preparation and amendment and provision of financial reports and guidance to the units she serves. She currently serves the following units: Senior Vice Provost for Education and Learning (SVPEL), Vice Provost for Graduate and Postdoctoral Education (VPGPE), Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Education (GPE), Office of Graduate Education (OGE), Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL), and Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty (VPF).
Horacio Chavez
Accountant III
Horacio is the Accountant III in the Office of the Provost and the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs. He manages all of the financial activity, including preparation of financial reports, analyzing financial data, reconciling and providing guidance and commentary on the actuals to budgets for the following units: Office of Academic Effectiveness and Center for 21st Century Universities.
Jaline Dixon
Financial Manager II
Jaline Dixon is the Financial Manager II who supports the Office of Undergraduate Education (OUE). She joined the Provost team in June 2023. Working closely with the OUE faculty and staff, she serves as the strategic financial partner and advisor to provide comprehensive financial oversight for the unit.
Rusty Edwards
Senior Director of Financial Administration
Rusty is the senior director of Financial Administration for both the Office of the Provost and the Office of the Executive Vice President for Research (EVPR). He leads a team responsible for the financial support for the provost and EVPR, as well as academic and research units across campus.
Germary Estevez
Financial Administrator II
Germary is a Financial Administrator II in the Office of the Provost and the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs. She provides direct support for Georgia Tech-Europe and Vice Provost for International Initiatives (VPII). She also provides additional support for the Office of International Education (OIE) and the First Year Semester Abroad (FYSA) program as needed. She ensures supported units adhere to Georgia Tech policies and procedures, processes, and reviews financial transactions.

Financial Manager II
Harry is the Financial Manager II in the Office of the Provost and the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs. He manages all of the financial activity, including preparation of financial reports, providing guidance and commentary on the actuals to budgets for the following units: Vice Provost for Graduate and Postdoctoral Education (VPGPE), Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL), Graduate Studies, Vice Provost for Faculty and Senior Vice Provost of Education and Learning (SVPEL).

Financial Administrator III
Macy is a Financial Administrator III in the Office of the Provost and the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs. She provides direct support to the Office of International Education and the First Year Semester Abroad (FYSA) program. She also provides additional support for Georgia Tech-Europe and Vice Provost for International Initiatives (VPII) as needed. She prepares financial reports, processes and reviews payroll and financial transactions, and reconciles accounts monthly for supported units.
Jin “Jake” Park
Financial Admin Lead
Jin “Jake” Park is the Financial Admin Lead in the Office of the Provost and works closely with the Director of Financial Administration II to oversee all financial activities within the department. He ensures accurate recording of financial transactions and departmental payroll through reconciliation, while also ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Mallorie Seibert
Accountant III
Mallorie is an Accountant III in the Office of the Provost and the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs. She provides all financial support to the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education unit. She reviews and monitors the financial transactions in the unit to ensure adherence of proper Georgia Tech policies and procedures.
Cheuk-ni Wong
Financial Manager II
Ni is the Financial Manager II for the Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs. She provides financial support for the Office of Vice Provost for International Initiatives (VPII). The VPII Office oversees the Office of International Education (OIE), two campuses abroad, Georgia Tech-Europe (GTE), and Georgia Tech-Shenzhen. She oversees and coordinates the preparation and administration of unit budgets including amendments, advises management regarding the unit's financial statues, manages the recording of financial transactions and generation of financial related reports.

Samantha Cooper
HR Manager
Works closely with unit management performing a range of HR duties, including employee relations, recruitment and selection, performance management, and compliance.
Brandi Foley-Rodgers
SHRM-SCP, Director III, HR Strategy and Faculty Administration
As a strategic HR partner, Brandi consults with unit leaders, staff, and faculty on comprehensive human resources matters that include complex employee relations, talent acquisition, total compensation, organizational development, change management, leave administration, and learning and development.
Latha Kumar
HR Consultant
Latha provides HR consultation and administrative support to the Provost and EVPR HR team as well as unit HR contacts in the areas of Talent Acquisition, Visa processing and Human Resource Information Systems.
Ashley Mastin
Faculty Affairs Administrative Manager
Ashley works with units reporting to the Provost and EVPR on faculty affairs administration, including hiring and promotion. She also serves as the unit’s executive recruiter, supporting leadership with Dean and Vice President-level searches.

Andrew supports the HR team on various projects and initiatives to include executive recruitment efforts.
