ECE Assistant Professor Tushar Krishna will have one of his recent research papers featured in the IEEE Micro “Top Picks from Computer Architecture Conferences,” to be published in the May/June 2020 issue. 

By now, many of you have heard of my intention to step down from the provost position on or around Sept. 1.

Georgia Tech Provost Rafael L. Bras will step down approximately Sept. 1, following a decade as the Institute’s chief academic officer. Bras will remain at Georgia Tech as a professor.

Ashok Goel and Donald Webster are being recognized by the University System of Georgia for their dedication in the classroom.

Excel at Georgia Tech has been restructured into CEISMC, moving the program out of the Scheller College of Business, and into a centralized unit within the Office of the Provost.

ECE Professor Russell D. Dupuis was presented with the Materials Today Innovation Award at the 2019 Materials Research Society Fall Meeting and Exhibit, held December 1-6 in Boston, Massachusetts. 

CSE Professor Richard Fujimoto received two fellow titles in the same week for his work in parallel and distributed discrete event simulation.
